Batman 3 Gossip

Hmmm, now this is interesting. The story says (a) they won't be recasting Joker, first of all. Joker was supposed to come back in Batman 3, but with Ledger's death, he won't be, and won't be recast. If nothing else, I suspect audiences would have trouble seeing anyone in that character after Ledger did such a definitive job in TDK. But this really surprised me.

Instead, our scooper tells us we’ll get a lot more Two-Face. No surprise there. Anyone who’s seen the recent trailer for The Dark Knight knows the current movie will be dealing with the creation of Batman’s scarred, coin-flipping bad guy. It looks like Batman 3 will continue with his story. We couldn’t get specific details from our source, but she says the third film will be referencing the Batman graphic novels “The Long Halloween” and “Dark Victory”.

Now I'm going to have to rewatch TDK, because I could've sworn Two-Face died. Didn't they have a funeral for him at the end? Turns out, no they didn't. Maybe it's just that they pretended Two-Face died, and have instead put Dent in Arkham.
