My phone just rang. I answered it.
Me: Hello?
My Six-Year-Old (6yo): Daddy? I have to ask you something.
Me: Sure.
6yo: The Power-puff girls book I have says its published by DC.
Me: That's right.
6yo: Then that means they should be able to meet the Justice League.
Me: I think that the Powerpuff Girls actually live in a different universe than the Justice League. DC is a magazine publisher than owns the rights to tell the Powerpuff Girls' story, but DC also maintains a multiverse in which a very large number of independent worlds - similar to each other, but also different with different people - exist. I think the Powerpuff Girls and the Justice League are within the multiverse, but on different Earth dimensions.
6yo: Oh, okay. That makes sense. I got confused because it said DC.
Me: Yes, it is a little confusing.
6yo: Okay bye.
