Michael Turner Obit
The NYT has a nice obituary about comic book artist, Michael Turner, who died recently from cancer. He was 37. He is more popularly known for the work he did for Image Comics on Witchblade, a story about a female detective who has a supernatural weapon attached to her arm. I've only read bits of Turner, but he drew typically beautiful, large-breasted heroines - sort of reminded me of Rob Liefeld and Jim Lee. Which is good, because I prefer comic book artists in that vein. It's far too early to die when we die at all, but especially at that age.
