Not Everyone Loves the MFI

The Milton Friedman Institutes sounds, to me, really awesome, personally. But, not everyone agrees, including others at Chicago itself (but whom are admittedly outside economics). Call me a cynic, but I'm hardly moved by learning this, given my own experience with the political persuasions of academics in general. The Chicago Tribute also reports. This last part is how I felt hearing about the hubbug:
Columbia University economics professor Jagdish Bhagwati laughed when he heard about the latest debate at the Hyde Park campus.

"It is nonsensical to object. . . . Chicago should be proud it has someone like Milton on its rolls," he said. "Anybody who can claim that Milton was not one of the major thinkers of his time is crazy."
