Another Awesome NYT Graph

J likes the NYT graphs, and so do I. Whoever they've hired to construct these should get a medal for their readability, aesthetics, and informational value. This one about how gas prices are affecting Americans is great. The first tab shows percent of income on gas; the second gas prices; the third median income, all by county. If you look at New Mexico in the first and third tab, the colors don't appear to change at all. Interestingly, the county in Mississippi has the lowest gas prices in the country and and one of the highest percent of income on gas. So it's mainly an income story, since the county also has one of the lowest median incomes in the country. Tough times.
