The article details the difficulties that Deskovic had has re-acclimating into society, which he has not participated in since he was a 17-year-old high school student. His story is unfortunately not unique. Another NYT article writes that "more than 200 prisoners exonerated since 1989 by DNA evidence — almost all of whom had been incarcerated for murder or rape.
